What I saw today was so much more about food….it was about building community and that’s so precious. Thank you to the many, many people who contributed to the success of our Christmas lunch on Dec 12th. With the help of everyone’s hard work and kind donations we were able to share food with nearly 1,400 people. The day started at 8:30 am. For the first four hours we built the stage, set up tents, set up sound systems, the first band arrived, and we unloaded the trucks. This was the first time we finally had more than enough people helping out and so, after all these events, I wasn’t running frantically, I was able to stop...
